Customer Service Representative - Turks and Caicos Islands

 

Looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative with knowledge in General Insurance Marketing, Underwriting and Account Executive for Turks & Caicos office.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Render assistance to customers;

  • Provide quotations for Personal and Commercial Lines clients, within authority limits;

  • Process and prepare policy documentation;

  • Communicate with clients to inform them of account status or changes;

  • Respond to letters and queries from customers;

  • Assist with other duties as deemed necessary by management.

 

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

-Certificate/Diploma in Insurance an asset;

-Minimum of 5 CXC/BGCSE or Associate’s degree;

-Minimum of 5 years working in insurance preferred;

-Communication and time management skills;

-Good customer relations and interpersonal skills;

-Professional demeanor and appearance.

 

Applicants must be motivated and have a good understanding of clients’ insurance requirements.

Customer Service Representative - Nassau

Receptionist - Nassau

 

Accepting applications for the position of Receptionist at Head office.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer calls promptly and in a professional and courteous manner;

  • Professionally administer all incoming calls and ensure that they are redirected to the appropriate individual;

  • Take and retrieve messages for various personnel;

  • Greet guests in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner;

  • Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company, and other related information.

  • Record all incoming mail/cheques in register binder and electronically;

  • Assist with placing and recording overseas calls for employees;

  • Assist with sorting and mailing all Renewal Notices;

  • Maintain a client log of all calls and walk-in customers;

 

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

-Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as MS Word, managing files and records, and other office procedures;

-Be computer literate;

-Ability to effectively communicate written and oral information so others can understand;

-Minimum of 3 BGCSEs;

-Good customer relations/service and interpersonal skills;

-Friendly and willing to interact with customers;

-Work independently with initiative;

-Possess a professional demeanor and appearance.

 

The successful candidate will receive an excellent benefits package including medical insurance and pension plan.  Salary commensurate with experience.
