File Clerk - Nassau

​

Looking for a mature individual to assist in our Filing Department.

​

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

​

  • File correspondence and records in accordance with the filing system used;

  • Perform general office activities such as typing, answering telephones, operating office machines, processing mail, or securing confidential materials;

  • Add new materials to file records, or create new records as necessary, and file in alphabetical order;

  • Gather materials to be filed from various departments or employees and sort or classify information according to guidelines;

  • Make copies of information from files in response to requests and deliver information to authorized users;

  • Track materials removed from files to ensure that borrowed files are returned;

  • Retrieve and collect files and deliver to authorized users;

  • Assigned to various Account Executives to assist with filing.​

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • 3 or more BGCSEs with minimum of C passing grade in English;​

  • Knowledge of clerical procedures and managing files and records;

  • Strong computers skills;

  • Must be a team player.
